Vaughan grew up in Beechworth and loves the relaxed lifestyle that we enjoy. After finishing both his Bachelor and Masters degrees at Victoria University in 2007 it seemed natural to return to this area. His passion is sport which is what drew him into Osteopathy in the first place. Growing up he enjoyed a wide variety of activities, from tennis and swimming to cricket and football. His spare time is now spent either enjoying time with his lovely wife or on walking the fairways on the golf course.
Vaughan enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions. For the best part of a decade, he has consistently helped people with chronic headache and back pain. He has treated many of the regions best athletes including, but not limited to, footballers, cricketers, basketballers and golfers. Vaughan recognises the rapid pace that medicine changes today and constantly undergoes further training both in Australia and abroad to keep abreast of advances in musculoskeletal medicine. He has completed additional studies in treatment and management of tendinopathies and is a certified kinesio taping and dry needling practitioner. All of this to help his patients to perform at optimum levels – whether it be at home, in the office or on the sporting field.
